ABOUT

Project Ceasefire has been setup with the primary goal of keeping those affected by knife crime, gun crime and youth violence connected to each other.

So many people in the UK lose family and friends to youth violence which alters their lives forever. Project Ceasefire is a place for those affected by the current epidemic that plagues our country, to connect and offer support to one another.

As much as there are after-care programmes provided by the Police and Victim Support, sometimes being able to speak to someone who has experienced what you have been through can be a stronger arm of support and be more relatable for families and friends.

Many of the families affected by knife crime have gone on to set up foundations and charitable organisations in honour of those who they lost and do incredible things in their community and are constantly fighting for changes in practices towards how knife crime and gun crime are treated by the Police and Judicial system.

Project Ceasefire is here to shine a light on the work they do and bring more awareness to people in their communities that can help strive towards a better tomorrow. The work and dedication that is put in by these foundations is incredible and they offer support and opportunities for young people in education and sports and other areas of society.

Project Ceasefire will also serve as a project offering opportunities for young people who have a keen interest in music. Check out the opportunities page for more info.
