JAYDEN MOODIE
Just Kidz aims to bridge the gap between the quality delivered by each school and the provisions they currently need to update, up-skill, and develop to improve the whole school and whole child approach. Just Kidz was recently set up to work with groups of young people each week. Our longevity is down to our adaptability and ability to think ahead. Our methods are caring about our own local communities and the children inside of these communities. Our work will be mainly directed at reducing the amount of knife crime in our capital. Since my cousin Jaden Moodie was stabbed to death at the age of 14, I have had the motivation to act and act fast. I have always had a thought process that sport and education is the key to success for many children, not only in London but around the whole of the UK. We will combine and work with other organisations in sport and education to help prevent knife crime and to start to give children opportunity again in their lives.
Just Kidz strives to help local communities by providing kids with opportunities to get involved and stay active. Doing so leads to a large number of benefits such as better physical health, better mental health, and keeping kids off the streets at high risk times. We do this with the goal of helping young people grow and develop as well as to keep them safe. We hope to enable kids to help them reach their full potential in the classroom and to help them reach their goals out of the classroom as well. Kids should not have to worry about whether or not they will make it home safely after the school day and Just Kidz hopes to help alleviate that worry so that kids can get back to being just kids.
